Being a mother is by far the best job I’ve ever had; don’t get me wrong, its hard at times, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the whole world. Knowing what unconditional love truly is, is something so special and surreal, I never knew it actually existed until the moment I first held my sweet Staley. Now, I’m celebrated once a year with all the other hard working, deserving mommas in the world and I couldn’t be happier.
and Nathan surprised me with a cute picnic in the park near our house; we dined on Chick-fli-a and laughed while Staley ran around pointing at everything in site. She’s at such a fun age right now; everything to her is so funny. It’s so sweet to see how excited she gets about such little things, like grass. I just love watching her grow. 🙂
Sunday, we traveled back to Eastern KY to celebrate the mother that started it all, my Mamaw. Without her, I wouldn’t have my fun loving, goofy momma! Proud to say, I’m basically a carbon copy of my mom, so its ok that I call her goofy! These women are so important to me; they are true examples of how we should all live our lives and raise a family.
Without these two, I don’t know where I’d be; I definitely wouldn’t be the mother I am now without them.
Happy belated Mother’s day to all momma’s in the world!
*A detailed post will be up later this week on my look. 🙂
